Miracle German Shepherd Dog Rescue of Maine is urgently seeking fosters to start our program.  We are a new rescue - incorporated in Maine, with 501(c)3 status.  We would like to start bringing dogs in to the program within 60-90 days - hopefully May 2017. Our first dogs will likely be from California and the southern states, although we anticipate bringing local (Northeast) dogs into the rescue once word is out. We need some committed fosters to begin bringing the dogs in.

 

Miracle GSD Rescue of Maine will pay all medical costs, you provide a loving environment, food, water, exercise etc. (A food subsidy may be provided as well). Although GSD experience is preferred it is not mandatory in some cases. Dogs will be temperament tested prior to arrival, and we can work with you as to parameters on dogs....i.e. you want to foster puppies, seniors, etc. Qualified fosters would need be within an hour of Belfast (some wiggle room here), and have a driver's license and access to a vehicle.
